| "Although
my inspiration comes from landscape, I attempt to
resist classical landscape formulae. The hope is
to produce an atmospheric image that evokes a feeling
of uncertainty and ambiguity which entwines the
evocative elements with our imagination. |
| The
final aesthetic judgement, the final image (of which
you have been the agent) has been resolved within
the medium itself. It is when it reaches a certain
point, like a musical note, that touches something
within you, and becomes a visual food, a delicacy,
and you know, yes, that's it! You control the chaotic
whole, but details take care of themselves, controlled
chaos. |
| How
and if the viewer responds to the images depends
purely upon the sensibility of the viewer. Within
this process, the viewer is hopefully involved within
the creation of the experience." |
