I originally trained as a graphic artist for a geological consortium which presented reports to the oil and gas industry. From industry to college to gain a BA(Hons) in Fine Art 2005 and then an MA in fine Art 2007.

My work represents the either/or.

The object itself is not important it is the event that emerges from the object, which then becomes the painting. It does not need an explanation, as the colour and the surface are there to trigger an emotional effect.

The object submerges within the painting and then the question is:
Do we perceive the "object" in its reality or is it part of our imagination?

My work is held in private collections in London and the Midlands
