What
is it that makes an artist want to create?
For Jan, it's a variety of reasons. Handling the paint,
the pastel or whatever the medium and exploring the richness
of textures and colours can be incentive enough. But then
there are the occasions when inspirational sights make
the experience more stimulating and vital to express,
when creating mood and atmosphere adds to the whole visual
impact. |
