| Solihull Artists
Forum (SAF) is a dynamic organisation of professional
visual and contemporary craft based artists who work to
raise the profile of arts in the Solihull area.
Initially set up in 2001 to consult
and work with Solihull MBC when the Borough was engaged
in establishing an Arts strategy. SAF provides both
networking and professional development opportunities
with a support framework for artists and craftspeople
who earn all or part of their income within the creative
industry. It seeks to improve exhibition and business
oportunities for its members.
SAF also benefits from the support
offered by Solihull Council's Arts team through regular
meetings at the Arts Complex and the provision of exhibition
oportunities in the main gallery along with the circulation
of regular information about opportunities for local
artists.
